My illustration work aims to reintroduce the idea that draftsmanship is not just an extremely accurate and graphically appropriate representation of the object, but also a beautiful image in its own right.
I pride myself on these principles, built and maintained over many years of making my work economically and professionally viable.

What is the illustration for? E.g a report, a book, an exhibit etc.
What impression is it meant to convey?
Other criteria; for example, deadlines and budget.
Following discussion, I can then provide detailed costs and relevant lead-times.
I base my pricing on an hourly rate for single images at approx £12 per hour, or if multiple images are required, then a flat rate for the whole project. That way I am able, whenever possible, to keep the project within budget.
Illustrations can be made either from photographs, my own research and knowledge, or alternatively arrangements can be made for me to receive, or travel to, the artifact(s).
